Fundraising 2017/18

10th October – Cade Comer (u10) has made a start on his values project by helping out locally doing household chores and cleaning etc.  So far he has raised about £30.  We’re hoping for IMG_3642good weather next Sunday when he plans to do a car boot sale to raise more.

8th October – JOE (U12) and DAN ANDREWS – On Sunday this week, we went to the car boot sale in Frome to raise some money for our values project. We sorted through all our old books and toys. It was an early start for us, but we really enjoyed it and made a fantastic £144! One of the few things that didn’t sell was a Man United puzzle, but we thought we could wrap that up for Shane for Christmas.

29th September – OLI LEMAIRE  (U9) I went to the car boot sale in Lansdown on the 24 of September 2017. I needed to get some stuff out of my playroom that I do not use anymore. We got all the stuff ready and then we put all of the things we were going to try and sell in the car.We went to the car boot sale. I found it pretty fun and I came back very happy. My best bit was selling a game to a young boy who was playing on it as I left. I raised 66 pounds and 50p at the car boot sale in Lansdown. I am going to raise the rest by doing a raffle at one of Lakhall’s home games with some friends.

25 July – Evan to the brave decision to speak to a local decorator. He volunteered to work with him over the summer to raise money. Already he has been covering furniture and sanding down various things; apparently he enjoyed it too! The plan is to do it a couple of times a week over the next 6 weeks; it is great that he is learning some new skills too! Fantastic start Evan well done!

21 July – Some boys have been busy already and have made a fantastic start. Ashton and Devon did well again this weekend with their fund raising, having already raised £70 at a previous event. This weekend, Ashton raised a further £40 with his Football target game and Devon has raised £107 from his Coconut Shy. Well done chaps, super effort!
